I had the pleasure of having Tyler take my graduation pictures. He made the entire experience fun and upbeat. I have never loved pictures more than my graduation pictures. My friends and I were overwhelmed with choosing poses, locations, etc, but Tyler told us exactly what to do for the best pictures. He is truly an artist! If you are getting any photography sessions done, I wholeheartedly suggest going to Tyler; you won’t regret it!

Photos, especially for special occasions, should be fun & professional - this experience could not have been more balanced between the two. Pictures were taken efficiently but not without consideration of requests, and Tyler was super helpful when providing advice for poses and locations without ever making it feel awkward. The photos were edited quickly and to perfection. He works hard and it shows in the creativity and quality of his work!

Tyler has done headshots for PGN’s chapter members many times and he continues to blow us away each and every time. He takes his time with each person ensuring that each person has a great headshot that they’ll love. Tyler goes out of his way to get the best lighting and angles for each person. I cannot say enough great things about him!

Tyler did group graduation photos for my friends and I in Spring 2022. Prior to the start of the shoot we discussed our expectations for the photos and asked him to pose us in whatever ways looked best in the camera and he did just that. Tyler took graduation photos for my roommates and I last Spring and we could not have had a better experience. Tyler is patient with clients who are not accustomed to being in front of the camera (like us). He made it an extremely enjoyable experience for us instead of something that we were dreading doing and we had such a blast during the session. We got our photos back so quickly and Tyler sat down with us to show us the results and help us to pick out the best for each of us individually. I had a fantastic experience from actually shooting to reviewing the results with Tyler and could not recommend Blond Photography more for your graduation photos/any other events!

Overal fantastic outcome and would use him again! Made sure to nail down the classic graduation poses and worked great with our group. Knew all the locations ahead of time and even timing in terms of sun light and optimal exposure times. Probably won’t find someone in the state college area with as much expertise, equipment, or experience at a fair price.

Recent Projects

In this project, I explored developing modern-style studio portraits as cyanotypes—an antiquated film development process. Contrasting two very different styles allowed me to explore the relationship among different eras while also considering the evolvement of technology and art. Through this process, I learned to acknowledge and appreciate tradition while simultaneously embracing modernity.
